Popular for a variety of reasons already, Walgreen's added to it by also including medical services after a recent union with American Association of Retired People. In the process of doing this, patients who needed things like flu shots suddenly didn't have to go to their doctors offices to get them-they could simply go to their local Walgreen's and get one instead.
With many other items available in the building, too, it is no wonder that people can go in a Walgreen's and come out with almost everything that they need. Baby things, cosmetics and foodstuffs and much more fill the floors and walls of your local Walgreen's. You can get all of these things while you wait on your meds!
Even better yet, some Walgreen's-but not all-offer photo areas. Some of the photo areas even offer to take your picture for your passports. Depending on the area, you may be able to drop off and pick up your film in an hour or two. Or, it may be a couple of days later. It will vary store to store.
Pharmacists are truly the lifeblood of any pharmacy, and this is just as true at Walgreen's as it is anywhere else. Ask one of their pharmacists a question about your prescriptions, and they will be able to give you an answer. They will also help you with setting up information online-in a Walgreen's drug program - so that if you are unable, at some point, to leave your house, you will still be able to get your medications with ease. Amazingly, you can actually have your medications delivered to you. When was the last time you heard of that?
Knowing how hard children can be when it comes to taking medication, your local Walgreen's pharmacist will be happy to offer you several different flavors to put in the meds to make the simpler to take. They can also offer you other ideas that you may not have previously thought of when it comes to getting the medications into your child.
